2021 has seen great growth for the British Research Panel’s member community, as well as the addition of two highly experienced Research Nurses. As more Brits express interest in clinical trials, we can work alongside them to improve the patient experience and empower their voices in clinical research.

New Research Nurse Jane, Provides Specialist Knowledge to Our Members

Jane Breen is the latest addition to our team and will be joining Paula Rogers as a Research Nurse for the British Research Panel. Specialising in cardiac conditions, and with over 30 years of experience in the NHS, Jane is looking forward to keeping our members informed and engaged in clinical trials.

Striving to Develop a Better Treatment for COPD

4 months later, our search for participants for the COPD trial continues. With no known cure for this debilitating disease, volunteers remain hopeful that their efforts can help to find a better treatment, benefitting themselves and others.

New Nurse for the British Research Panel 

Paula Rogers will become the new Research Nurse for the British Research Panel. With her 25 years of experience working in the NHS and her clinical trials knowledge, she will be able to offer members the best chance to easily and safely engage in future trials.

I Signed Up to Make a Difference

In our work with finding participants for an ulcerative colitis trial, The British Research Panel have spoken with two volunteer participants, Jan and Joanne. They want to fight the stigma surrounding ulcerative colitis and make a difference for a disease that is often overlooked.
